(January 22, 2018, 1:02 pm)Kodokan Martial Arts is a great club for people of all ages and abilities. There is a strong adherence to tradition and etiquette, giving students a more authentic experience of the Martial Arts, in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

(January 18, 2018, 12:07 pm)I would highly recommend this club. My 7 year old has been going for 18 months now, he really enjoys each session and is working his way up through the belts. The sessions provide just the right balance between fun, learning, and discipline which the kids really respond to. Some parents stay and watch, others (like me) use the valuable hour to get some jobs done - knowing the kids are safe and being well looked after by Fred and the other instructors. A great club at a very reasonable price.

(January 16, 2018, 7:58 pm)My daughter has been attending the classes on Saturday morning and Monday night for a couple of years now. The classes are fun, improve fitness and flexibility whilst developing martial art skills. Highly recommended !

(January 15, 2018, 8:21 am)Traditional karate style, strict with lots of theory and etiquette teaching as well as the physical moves. Teaches several styles which can include anshin ryu, kamashin and Kobudo. Classes are available on 3 different days each week which means you can vary your practise based around your needs and budget. Staff are experienced and knowledgeable with first hand experience of training in Japan and competing in their art.
